सवेरा फाउंडेशन ने बच्चों में गर्म वस्त्र बांटकर मनाया लोहड़ी पर्व

फाजिल्का, 14 जनवरी: स्थानीय इन्दिरा नगरी में लोहड़ी पर्व उत्साह व धूमधाम से मनाया गया। इस मौके पर सवेरा फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक अतुल नागपाल ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि के रूप में शिरकत की। इस मौके पर उन्होंने बच्चों में गर्म वस्त्र बांटे। उन्होंने कहा कि सवेरा फाउंडेशन का उद्देश्य है कि हर जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति की मदद की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि लोहड़ी एक पवित्र व भाईचारे का प्रतीक पर्व है। इस लिए वह बच्चों में गर्म वस्त्र बांटकर उनके साथ अपने प्यार व भाईचारे को कायम रख रहे हैं।
अपने संबोधन में अतुल नागपाल ने आगे कहा कि परंपरिक तौर पर लोहड़ी फसल की बुआई और उसकी कटाई से जुड़ा एक विशेष पर्व है। लोहड़ी की अग्रि में रबि की फसल तिल, रेवड़ी, मूंगफली, गुड़ व गजक को अर्पित किया जाता है। मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस तरह सूर्य देव व अग्रि देव के प्रति आभार प्रकट किया जाता है, क्योंकि उनकी कृपा से फसल अच्छी होती है। उन्होंने बताया कि पौराणिक कथा अनुसार लोहड़ी का सबंध माता सती से भी है। इसके अलावा उन्होंने लोहड़ी पर्व मनाने के पीछे लोहड़ी और होलिका दोनों बहनों की कथा के बारे में भी बताया। उन्होंने बताया कि इस पर्व से संबंधित दुल्ला भट्टी के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। इस मौके पर अशोक चुचरा, प्रदीप शर्मा मिन्टा, संजय मदान, अजय नागपाल, प्रवीण भारद्वाज, सतीश चुघ और दया नंद आदि मौजूद थे।

Fazilka, 14 January: Lohri festival was celebrated with enthusiasm and pomp in local Indira Nagar. On this occasion, Atru Nagpal, founder of Savera Foundation, joined as the chief guest. On this occasion, he distributed warm clothes in children. He said that the purpose of the Savera Foundation is to help all the needy persons. He said that Lohri is a sacred festival and a symbol of brother-in-law. Therefore, he is maintaining his love and brotherhood with them by distributing hot clothes in children.
In his address, Atul Nagpal further said that there is a special festival associated with sowing and harvesting of Lohri crop. In the Lohri fire, Rabi crop is offered to sesame, riwadi, peanuts, jaggery and gajak. According to the beliefs, such gratitude is expressed to Sun God and Agreed Dev, because the crop is good because of His grace. He said that according to legend, Lohri's mother also belongs to Sati. Apart from this, he also told about the story of both Lohri and Holika sisters behind Lohri festival. He also informed that about the festival of Dula Bhatti related to this festival.
